Global Chef Challenge - Australian Finals to run at Fine Food for the first time

This year for the first time the Australian Final of, ‘Global Chef Challenge’, will be held as part of the Melbourne Culinary Challenge, held on behalf of the Australian Chefs Federation.

This Competition will attract top Chefs from around Australia, who will be competing to represent Australia at the Oceania Final between Chefs from all over the pacific and new Zealand, competing next March in Auckland.

The ultimate winner of this competition will be one of seven chefs from around the world, competing in Dubai in 2008, for the coveted title of Chef of the World’.

As one would imagine, this is a prestigious culinary event, and is attracting some of the top talent around Australia, eager to showcase their culinary talents, on the Worlds stage.

The winner will receive a trophy and $00,000 in prize money, as well as airfares and accommodation in Auckland, New Zealand.
